Which settings to pick
- Email or messaging: 1920 px at quality 80 keeps photos sharp on any screen and usually brings a phone photo under 1 MB.
- Upload forms with a size limit: start at 1280 px and quality 75, then go lower if it's still too big.
- Printing: keep the original size and use quality 90 or above.
What else it removes
The shrunk copy is a fresh image, so the location, phone model and other hidden data from the original are gone too. If that's all you want, the photo location remover keeps the full size.
